  • Air Force returns Fat Albert to Blue Angels demo team

    The Ogden Air Logistics Complex recently completed an eight-month. depot-level maintenance overhaul on the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels C-130T Hercules aircraft known as Fat Albert. Fat Albert is used to support the Blue Angels aerial demonstration team and performs its own aerial acts during air shows.
  • Ogden ALC passes AS 9100/9110 audit

    The Ogden Air Logistics Complex passed its Aerospace Standard 9100/9110 audit. The Complex is proud to announce that it is fully certified until April 2019. During April 2017, a team from Perry Johnson Registrars, conducted an extensive five-day external surveillance audit. Their goal was to ensure industry standards for an aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility were being performed by the Ogden ALC. Remaining a registered organization has been a long-term strategic decision for senior leadership. This allows the ALC to meet to customer demand for registration and conformance to an international standard.
  • 309th AMARG applauded for valuable AFSOC support

    U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Gregory Ferguson, the Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander, United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), along with an MC-130H Talon II aircraft and its crew, recently visited the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) to recognize and pay tribute to the group’s contribution to the AFSOC mission.
