DLA Aviation team at Warner Robins pulls off quick warehouse move for Air Force

Last fall the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Storage and Distribution team at Warner Robins, Georgia, was contacted by the Air Force about taking over a warehouse in the Avionics Group being used by the team. The Air Force needed space for its F-35 production aircraft line, so the team of 21 volunteers coordinated and expedited the move — accomplishing the task in seven hours. Damage Inc II arrives

B-52H Stratofortress tail number 61-0009, nicknamed "Damage Inc. II," arrived at the Boeing facility near Tinker Air Force Base Jan. 22, 2022, where it serve as an integration model to test how well new technologies and current and future modifications will integrate with B-52 aircraft. The B-52 is undergoing its biggest modernization effort in its history. In addition to new engines, the B-52 is also upgrading its 1960’s core radar to a new Active Electronically Scanned Array system similar to those found in modern fighter aircraft.
