AFSC Commander hosts CLP meeting at Tinker

TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. --  Members of the Air Force Sustainment Center Community Liaison Program 2016-2018 class came together on Aug 25-26 here.  AFSC Commander Lt. Gen. Lee K. Levy II hosted 12 class members representing each of the AFSC installations.

"Our civilian community partners are vital to the overall success of the AFSC mission," said General Levy.   "The community liaison program provides us with a highly-effective way to share the center's strategic vision for enabling our nation's global reach and power."

The general noted that the program also provides a way for civic leaders to exchange ideas on how to improve community partnerships and take care of Airmen and their families.

The CLP currently consists of a total of 13 community members, four from Georgia, four from Utah and five from Oklahoma.

This is the first time members of this class from all three AFSC base communities have come together.
The 2016-2018 AFSC CLP class members include business, political, education and community leaders.

· Georgia:
o The Honorable Randy Toms, Mayor, Warner Robins
o John Hall, Chief Executive Officer, American Pride Bank
o Rob Brooks, Board Chair, 21st Century Partnership
o Dr. Ivan Allen, President, Central Georgia Technical College

· Oklahoma:
o Vince Howie, Aerospace & Defense Director, Oklahoma Department of Commerce
o Charles "Randy" Young, Principle Staff Member, The Greentree Group
o David Jackson, Senior Executive Relationship Manager, JPMorgan Chase
o Robin Roberts-Krieger, Vice President, Business and Industry Training and Economic Development Oklahoma State University - Oklahoma City
o Michael Kloiber, President and CEO, Tinker Federal Credit Union

· Utah:
o Brian Garrett, Senior Vice President, Director of Military Relations, Zions Bank
o The Honorable  J. Stuart Adams, Majority Whip, State of Utah, District 22
o Kevin Ireland, Developmental Director, Ogden Weber Chamber of Commerce
o Angie Osguthorpe, President and CEO, Davis Chamber of Commerce.
