July 11, Hill's 'See Me, Save Me' campaign ride was "a success," said Allan Woods, Hill's Motorcycle Safety Program manager. About 200 riders showed up in force to ride a circular route through local communities around the base.

The goal was "to motivate motorists to take a second look, specifically for motorcyclists, and to share the road with the smaller traffic including bicyclists and pedestrians," Woods said.

Local law enforcement and Utah Highway Patrol escorted the long line of motorcycles and closed intersections as the ride progressed to ensure riders didn't have to stop for lights during route.

This was the fourth year Hill AFB sponsored the event, which included riders from on and off base.
