The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex proudly hosted AFMC’s Logistics Career Broadening Program participants last week.  18 career broadeners from the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, Warner-Robins Air Logistics Complex, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, Defense Logistics Agency – Aviation, and F-35 Joint Program Office participated in a three-day immersion within the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, 448 Supply Chain Management Wing, and Air Force Sustainment Center
The visitors toured the Propulsion Maintenance Group, Aircraft Maintenance Group, Commodities Maintenance Group, and the local manufacturing and tooling ecosystem within the OC-ALC.  The members also met with Lt. Gen. Miller, the Air Force Sustainment Center commander, Maj. Gen. King, the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex commander, and Mr. Robert Kielty, deputy director of the 448 Supply Chain Management Wing.
Participants in the Logistics Career Broadening Program are competitively selected for this 2-year developmental program from the Aircraft Maintenance, Munitions Maintenance, and Logistics Readiness career fields to sharpen acquisition, supply chain, and maintenance skill sets.
Members of the program gain valuable knowledge and experience in leading acquisitions, logistics, and product support aspects of the Air Force logistics system through rotational assignments in various functional areas of the Air Force Sustainment Center, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, and the Defense Logistics Agency.
