Tinker visit

Daron Bender, a sheet metal chief with the 564th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, left, provides Wayne Schatz Jr., associate deputy chief of staff for operations, headquarters, United States Air Force, with an overview of the aft wing terminal fitting and center wing spar replacement procedures being performed on the KC-135 “Stratotanker” during his visit to Tinker Air Force Base May 22-23. During his two-day visit, Schatz was able to discuss and receive updates on Air Force Sustainment Center logistics and sustainment, to include updates on the E-3 “Sentry” Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft, as well as impacts to fleet health and readiness as pilot production increases on Air Force weapon systems.
