AFMC's five centers

As one of many efficiency efforts across the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command will restructure from 12 centers to five: the Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.; the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center at Kirtland AFB, N.M.; the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, Okla.; and the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, both at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. By eliminating overhead at the remaining organizations, the Air Force will realize significant savings in overhead costs and manpower. (U.S. Air Force graphic)
