Energy stars
Being No. 1 isn’t a title Tinker Air Force Base wants when it comes to energy consumption. Mark McWhirter, left, and Gary Krivokapich are two new 72nd Civil Engineering Directorate employees focused to help take the base out of that ranking. The men discuss one of the advanced meter reading systems, this one outside Bldg. 210, that through radio signals sends energy usage information back to CE to pinpoint trends, helping CE find options to use less and save more.
